The Detection of Crime Branch registered a case of cheating, breach of trust, breach of trust by a public servant against six persons.
A Documentary filmmaker Praful Thakar, 63, a resident of Bopal filed a complaint. his friend, and other family members were cheated out of Rs 55.27 lakh. they were made to invest in some companies with the promise of high returns.
The complaint has been registered against Hiren Jogani, a resident of Surat, who was projected as the managing director of the companies, Ketan Solanki, a resident of Surat, who was the chairman and managing director; Deepak Shah from Anand, Chandani Jaspara from Ernakulum, Jigar Nimavat, a resident of Ahmedabad, who was the national head; and Harsh Solanki, also a resident of Ahmedabad, who was the assistant manager of the company.
