Volkswagen India has announced that the City Store SP Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat would be its second ‘All-Women operated City Store’. Following the successful launch of the first store in Coimbatore, Volkswagen India in partnership with Automark Group has expanded this initiative to the state of Gujarat.
The ‘All-Women operated City Store’ employs over 10 women professionals who will oversee every aspect of operations, from sales and after-sales service to test drive management, customer care services, housekeeping, security, and more. The showroom has a four-car display showcasing the latest product portfolio, which includes the Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus, and Tiguan.
Evolving consumer demographics and consumer behaviour trends clearly indicate higher engagement levels that a diverse workforce can offer while also inspiring more women professionals to join and excel in the car retail industry. With the learnings from the first All-Women-operated City Store in Coimbatore, the aim is to offer an even more engaging environment to customers.
