Ahmedabad Police arrested Five persons for allegedly being involved in human trafficking on the pretext of running a spa in Ahmedabad. after the police raided the premises in Odhav.
The accused identified as Rahul Valand (29), the owner of Bodhi International Spa, Nikul Desai (26), a helper at the spa. The others were three customers at the spa – Shoaib Indawala (33) and Ravi Prajapati (27) Saad Ahmed Nabi (24).
The Police Control Room received frequent complaints from people alleging that the accused were indulged in unethical flesh trade in the guise running a body massage parlour.
The police asked the man to ask for a “body massage, along with sex” with the owner of the spa centre. As the decoy followed the instructions, he decided on a price and went to an allotted room from where he gave a missed call to the police personnel waiting outside the spa.
Soon, the police personnel rushed in and got hold of the five accused. the three customers were found in a “compromising position” with women, one of whom claimed that she was from Aizawl and took Rs 1,000 for each “service”.
