Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ trailer is finally out and it is everything that fans hoped for. Nothing short of a mass entertainer, the trailer has fuelled the anticipation of the fans. And amid the strong buzz, SRK’s dialogue ‘Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar’ from the film has gone viral.
Soon after the dialogue went viral, fans speculated that it was directed at former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede. For context, Aryan Khan was arrested by Sameer in connection with the drugs case in 2021. Court hearings followed and after almost a month in custody, the Bombay High Court granted him bail. Aryan Khan was given a clean chit later.
SAMEER WANKHEDE SHARES CRYPTIC NOTE
Other than SRK’s impeccable action sequences to his various looks in the trailer, what made fans obsessed was the dialogue, ‘Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar’ (Deal with the father before touching the son) that he delivers in his typical-thunderous style in one of the scenes.
Soon after the line from the trailer went viral, the Internet was quick to derive a reel-to-real life connection, linking the same to the Aryan Khan case.
Now, the former officer shared a cryptic quote by Nicole Lyons which read, “I have licked the fire and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you.” Internet is now wondering if this is Wankhede’s way of giving it back to Shah Rukh Khan.
Meanwhile, the Aryan Khan case took a new turn with Sameer Wankhede facing corruption charges for allegedly demanding Rs 25 crore from SRK for the release of his son.
