Navarachna University organized an enlightening regional debate competition in association with Y20 which created a platform for youth to articulate their perspectives on issues directly linked to Y20’s overarching theme: “Shared Future: Youth in Democracy and Governance.” Discussions and critical thinking were observed as participants tackled two thought-provoking topics.
School students conducted: “Social Media: The Fourth Pillar of Democracy?” College and University Students Debate: “Young Nation, Old Leaders”
With a total of 33 teams representing schools and colleges from across Gujarat, the competition was a testament to the vigor and eloquence of the youth of the state. the final showdown saw 11 teams competing for top honours, with teams from 7 schools and 4 colleges securing their spots. Navarachna University gave away the prizes at the closing ceremony of Navarachna University today.

First Runner Up: MS University – Hemkshi Aggarwal and Devashree Manani
2nd Runner Up: Navarachna University – Diya Trivedi and Nitya Raj
Jury Award: Navarachna University – Shivam Bhatt
The schools category saw fierce competition and the following teams emerged victorious:

First Runner Up: Anand Vidya Vihar – Divita Sodha and Maitri Dholakia
2nd Runner Up: St. Kabir Indian International School – Jayani Purohit and Swara Mogakar
Consolation Prize: Delhi Public School – Devyani Ghosal and Ishan Ganguly and Navarachna School Sama – Anushree Bohra
