Ahmedabad rural district court rejected the bail application of the father of the key accused in the ISKCON flyover accident that killed nine people last month.
The court noted that prima facie the alleged offences are made out against him.
A speeding luxury Jaguar car crashed into a crowd gathered at an accident site on the ISKCON flyover in Ahmedabad’s SG Highway on July 19 midnight killing nine people, including two police constables, a home guard jawan and men aged between 18 years and 21 years and injuring 13 others.
Tathya Patel, the driver of the Jaguar and his father Pragnesh Patel were arrested after the accident.
