Two sisters from Gomtipur area of the Ahmedabad have become victims of love jihad. In which Hindu girls were trapped in a love by heathen youths and both were converted. After which they were subjected to unbearable oppression by the youth. Finally, both the sisters managed to escape from the clutches of heretical youths. A complaint has been registered by the girl against the youths in this matter, and the police is conducting an investigation.
The victim has stated in her complaint that whenever she would step out of the house, she was chased by the infidel youth. He used to say he loved her and wanted to marry her. Eventually she fell for his talk, after which her life was ruined.
The heretic youth took her from Ahmedabad to Maharashtra, where he made her sign an affidavit written in Marathi. she trusted him and signed. she thought, it was marriage affidavit, but the youth converted her by getting her signature. youth used to force her to eat non-veg.
On the other hand, her elder sister was lured into a love trap by a heretical youth named Iqbal and taken to Uttar Pradesh. Where she was kept in Pratapgarh. However, after 7 years, she has come to Ahmedabad to rescue her younger sister.
The heretical young man assumed the name Manthan Joshi on Facebook and tricked the younger sister into marrying her. However, after the marriage, the girl came to know that her name is not Manthan, but Sohail. The younger sister who is a victim of love jihad has one child while the elder sister has two children.
Currently, based on the complaint of both the sisters, the Gomtipur Police have booked the IPC Section 376 (2) N, 377,34, 354 (A)(1)(1), 354(D)(1)(1), 506 (2), 507, 498 (K), 114 and Section 3, 4 of the Gujarat Independence Act 2003 have been registered and further action has been taken.
