The SRFDCL has invites expressions of interest for docking personal boats and sailing on Sabarmati River.
SRFDCL will construct a jetty to accommodate private boats and allow owners to navigate their vessels along the Sabarmati for a fee. but owners will not be allowed to rent out their boats, as they must be used for personal purposes only.
The authority is requesting interested parties to submit their proposals, including the amount of rent they wish to pay. Based on these applications, SRFDCL will determine the appropriate rental charges.
In the invitation for EOI, SRFDCL says, “SRFDCL does not envisage maintaining water level throughout the year. In the event of a flood situation, the owner shall remove their boats/yachts to their proper place and at their own expense to avoid any damage or loss due to flood. The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is June 27.
