Three flights departing from Ahmedabad have been cancelled while 13 flights have been rescheduled Due to strong wind and heavy rain. Scheduled flights of Indigo, Vistara, Akasa and Air India departing from Ahmedabad were disturbed.
SpiceJet’s Goa-Ahmedabad flight on Monday took off at 4.30 pm instead of 9:00 am, while Indigo Airlines’ Pune-Ahmedabad flight was delayed by over three hours. Ahmedabad-Mumbai flight was also delayed by three hours due to bad weather.
The three flights cancelled on Monday include SpiceJet’s Siliguri-Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad-Siliguri and Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar.
13 flights from Ahmedabad that were scheduled to fly to Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and Goa were delayed by more than an hour. 14-15 June will be important for Ahmedabad airport.
