Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday held a courtesy meeting with five IIM graduates in Gandhinagar who will offer their services free of cost to re-brand and reposition Garvi Gurjari Emporium, a Gujarat government undertaking set up for identification, revival and development of handicrafts and handlooms in Gujarat.
According to a statement issued by the government, Garvi Gurjari Emporium had recently approached leading management colleges of the country and sought help in the project.
The five graduates three from IIM Ahmedabad and two from IIM Bengaluru expressed their willingness to assist in the project pro bono for five to seven weeks.
The five graduates will assist Garvi Gurjari Emporium in topics such as digital platforms and social media marketing strategies, brand positioning, competition and rebranding, enterprise resource planning as well as consumer behavior and analytics to increase online visibility and reach.
