Amdavad Municipal Corporation’s health department sealed nine eateries for their deplorable kitchen conditions. they were also serving food that was considered unfit for consumption.
During a random inspection, the health department teams were shocked to find unsanitary kitchens and unhygienic storage of food.
Shockingly insects were also found in the cooking oil of one establishment. to ensure accountability AMC officials slapped fines ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 on 64 food joints and shops.
Charbhuja Eatery, Sweet Mart in Indrapuri, New Bherunath Namkeen and Deep Bakery in Ghatlodia, India Ice Cream in Shahibagh and Manbhavan Namkeen Home Industry in Shahpur have been sealed.
