The Gujarat Police announced a policy for social media use for police officers-employees. According to which now it has been banned to post videos on social media while wearing police uniform.
Police have released a code of conduct for using social media. A few changes have been made in the code of conduct issued earlier.
The police department has been forced to issue a new code of conduct. Police personnel have to follow the code of conduct for using social media. Apart from this, police personnel will not be able to criticize or comment against the government on social media.
