The Climate Change Programme at the Commonwealth Secretariat headquarters in London, UK, has chosen Pareeta Agrawal, Tanya Batra, Harsh Chandurkar, and Prisha Kakade for an internship.
All the students are pursuing Bachelor of Technology specialising in Climate Change programme at the Anant School for Climate Action.
It is the first climate research institute in India. Students will be selected for the virtual internships based on their profiles. They will collaborate with the Climate Adviser, the Knowledge and Learning Officer, and the Regional Adviser for Africa.
With the goal of reducing climate change, the Commonwealth Climate Change Programme works with 56 nations across the globe to protect the environment and utilise natural resources wisely. The Climate Change Programme of the Commonwealth Secretariat promotes global policies, procedures, and norms that are more attentive to the needs of developing nations, small islands, and other vulnerable countries.
