Karnataka Polls, King Cong, BJP gone

The BJP lost its only bastion in the south today, with Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai conceding defeat shortly after the Congress leads moved past 130 seats. The BJP is ahead on 60-plus seats and HD Kumaraswamy’s JD(S) in over 20 seats.

CM Basavaraj Bommai has taken responsibility for BJP’s loss in the Karnataka election 2023. Speaking with reporters, CM Bommai said, “I take responsibility for this debacle. There are multiple reasons for this. We will find out all the reasons and strengthen the party once again for Parliament elections.”

Meanwhile, addressing a press conference at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said, “Nafrat ki baazar band ho gayi hai, mohabbat ki dukaan khul gayi hai.”(Market of hatred has shut down, shop of love has opened).

Devendra Fadnavis said in Nagpur that “we did not get success as per our expectations in Karnataka, no government was repeated in Karnataka after 1985, this time we thought that we would break this trend but we could not do so, compared to 2018. This time our half percent vote has come down, this time 5 percent vote of JDS has been transferred to Congress, this is why Congress has won. BJP’s vote has not come down, some people feel that they have won the entire country. my advice to them is that They should see the results of the elections held in the East, whatever happened in Karnataka will not affect the country nor will it affect Maharashtra, Modiji will form the government in the country and BJP and Shiv Sena will form the government in Maharashtra. Fadnavis Said.

The Congress is winning/leading in more seats in Bangalore, Kalyan Karnataka, Kittur Karnataka and South regions. The BJP is leading in coastal Karnataka regions.

The election had witnessed a high-octane battle between the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)).
