Actress Ileana D’Cruz is expecting her first child. On Tuesday morning, she shared the information on social media. To show the world how happy she is, Ileana, 36, tweeted pictures of a baby suit with the words “And thus the journey begins” written on it as well as a picture of herself wearing a “mother” pendant.
The announcement stunned everyone on social media, and her close friends and professional colleagues rushed to the comment section to wish her luck on her new journey. A couple of her supporters also defended her and provided information to those who had questions regarding father’s name.
Some social media users reacted to IIeana’s pregnancy by inquiring about the father, but many of them—particularly women—replied that it was her business and that we should just support her decision to embrace parenting.
People in the comments asking for the father’s name are the same ones who don’t believe in single parenthood,” one user said. You didn’t question Karan Johar about the mother? Didn’t ask Raveena or Sushmita Sen when she adopted a girl child? Who is Tushar Kapoor? What’s the matter with you? She can become a mother by any of the methods listed above. “Disgusting mentality!” “Wtf all I see in the comments is whose the dad father kon hai,” added another. It’s her business, like F OFF. All you have to do is congratulate her and wish her success. Stop making bad comments… God bless you and your child (sic).” Check out her viral pregnancy post right here.
Sebastian Laurent Michel, Katrina Kaif’s brother, is said to be dating Ileana. While the two never made their relationship official, they were frequently sighted on vacation together, including one in the Maldives with Vicky-Katrina.
The actor, who has appeared in films such as Barfi, Baadshaho, Rustom, and Main Tera Hero, has just released a music video named ‘Sab Gazab’ by Goldkartz and Badshah. She disclosed that she was ill in January and published selfies from her hospital bed. “What a difference a day makes,” Ileana wrote. There were also some nice doctors and three bags of IV fluids (sic).” She did not, however, divulge the reason for her hospitalization.
Congratulations to the new mom to be!
