The famous Ahmedabad Flower Show 2023 is open for visitors until January 11 at the Sabarmati Riverfront. On Saturday, December 31, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel officially inaugurated the nearly two-week-long flower show.
Visitors to the current edition of the Ahmedabad Flower Show can see a wide variety of flowers as well as several floral sculptures and designs made from both domestic and international flowers. The sculptures are in the shapes of a giraffe, an elephant, the G20, the U20, the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Millet Year, Lord Hanuman, yoga, football, and even a Barbie doll.
Apart from these, the flower show will feature exhibitions of various farms and nurseries, horticultural plants, gardening and kitchen garden flowers and plants, as well as various stalls. Because of the resurgence of Covid cases, face masks have been made mandatory this time.
