According to the report, it took police five days to file a FIR because the bodies had not been recovered. Vinodji’s father claimed that his son was depressed after his wife left him.

On the basis of his statement, the police filed a complaint of abetting suicide against the deceased’s wife, her mother, and a mediator named Gugaji Thakor on Sunday.

The deceased’s father revealed that his son was a casual labourer with no steady income. He committed suicide on November 21, after leaving his home with his sons.
