IndiGo has announced the addition of new flights between Ahmedabad and Amritsar as part of its winter schedule for 2022, which will begin on December 1, 2022. This new route is being added to meet the route’s increasing demand during the upcoming holiday season.

On the outskirts of the district, popular tourist attractions include the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah Border, Ram Tirth, Gurudwara Shaheed Ganj Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Guru Bazaar, Gobindgarh Fort, Sadda Pind, and many more.
