The ISC Class 12 results were released on Sunday and three of the four students who scored over 99 percent were from Anand Niketan in Ahmedabad.
In all 2,064 students from 24 schools in the state appeared for the exams of which 1,185 were boys and 879 girls. Boys had a pass percentage of 99.24% while it was 99.20% for girls. Nine boys and seven girls failed to clear the exams.
According to ISC statistics, 46 Scheduled Caste, 36 Scheduled Tribe and 217 Other Backward Class students appeared for the exam and all of them cleared it.
In Anand Niketan, 75% of students in the science stream got above 90%, while 24% of students in the commerce stream scored above 90%. In Humanities 35% scored 90% and more. LML school achieved 100% results with 7 of the 33 students scoring over 90%, 17 above 80% and 8 above 70%. Only one student scored 60% and above.
In Zydus School of Excellence, 25 of the 28 students from the science stream and 11 of the 28 students in the commerce stream scored 90% and more. Five of the nine students from Humanities also scored 90% and more.
At Zydus, Diya Vipul Shah scored the highest in Science with 98%, in Commerce Gourav Lodha was the topper in school with 94% and Keya Kakkad topped in Humanities with 96.40%.
All students of JG International School also cleared the exams with 10 students scoring above 90% while 35 of them scored a distinction or more. The overall result in the country stood at 99.38%.
Across India, the pass percentage for girls was 99.52% while for boys it was 99.26%. As many as 18 students ranked first with a score of 99.75%.
