A man is being hailed as a hero for rescuing a young child who fell from a fifth-floor window. According to Metro, the terrifying incident took place in Tongxiang, in the Chinese province of Zhejiang.
As per Metro, Shen Dong heard a loud thud as he was parking his car across the street. Actually, the little girl had fallen four-storeys and landed on a steel roof. She then toppled downwards and was caught miraculously by Dong, who ran at the last minute to save her from hitting the pavement.
The viral video was shared by Lijian Zhao, a Chinese government official on Twitter.
Over 68k people have watched the same video on Twitter, making it a popular online video.
Netizens hailed Shen Dong as a hero and praised his presence of mind and quick thinking in the comments section.

According to the South China Morning Post, the toddler suffered injuries to her legs and lungs during the accident but is now in the hospital and stable. Shen informed that he didnt know the girl was a baby until she started crawling. “To be honest, I cannot remember the details,” he said.
“I cannot remember if my arms hurt or anything. It was just instinct to reach out to her. It was lucky I made it on time. Otherwise, I would feel absolutely horrible,” he added.
