Gujarat Police’s official Twitter account hacked, now restored

The Twitter account of Gujarat Police was hacked and renamed after Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi said, “This is to make everyone aware that the official handle (Twitter) of Gujarat Police has been hacked. Requesting not to respond to the messages or any information shared by them till further notice.”

The Miscreants had changed the name of the Gujarat Police Twitter handle to Elon Musk, as well as the display picture to a spaceship.

The account has been restored now.
