Success stories in difficult circumstances are always an inspiration. And for today’s edition of motivational stories, this story of a bureaucrat from Gujarat won the hearts of netizens. Tushar Sumera, the Collector of Bharuch in Gujarat, has captured the attention of netizens after a photo of his class 10 marksheet was shared on Twitter.
The tweet, which was posted by IAS officer Awanish Sharan, included two images. One of them displayed Sumera’s marksheet, which listed the grades he received for his board exams. Mathematics: 36 out of 100; English: 35! Can you even fathom it? Sumera sat proudly in his office in the other photo.
The post has received over 17.4k likes and numerous reactions.
“Bharuch Collector Tushar Sumera, while sharing his class 10th marksheet, wrote that he got only passing marks in class 10th. He got 35 marks in English, 36 in maths and 38 in science out of his 100. Not only in the whole village but in that school it was said that they cannot do anything,” read the caption.
In today’s society, the rat race of getting high grades in order to get into a good college has left the generation mentally exhausted. That is why Sumera’s hopeful life story has touched netizens’ hearts.
