Meanwhile, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius, Both Vadodara and Dessa recorded 37.6 degrees C, Bhuj recorded 37 .2degrees Celsius while Surat registered a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
Ahmedabad recorded the highest maximum temperature in the region.
As per the prediction by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), No large change in maximum temperatures during next 4-5 days very likely over the region.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
So far, no heat wave or thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Gujarat.
