The Vadilal International Gujarati Film Festival (IGFF) is hosting its third edition in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Gujarat Tourism is also supporting a cinematic culture festival. After a two-year break due to the worldwide corona pandemic, the IGFF returned on May 20th with a grand red carpet event and opening ceremony.
On the opening Day more than 1000 Gujarati community of Atlanta were present to witness the first ever Gujarati Film Festival.
In the Opening Ceremony Atlanta, Dignitaries & Gujarati community, and Gujarati Film fertility were present. Mr. Mike Mason – Mayor Peachtree Corners, Dr Swati Kulkarni – Consul General of India, Atlanta, IGFF 2022 Chairman – Dr. Naresh Parikh were in attendance. Celebs of Gujarati Film Industry were there to grace the red carpet on the opening day.
Renowned Filmmaker and IGFF Festival Director Umesh Shukla, Festival Jury Member Gopi Desai, and Jay Vasavada along with other celebrities like Ishani Dave, Pooja Zaveri, Chetan Dhanani, Devaki, filmmaker Niraj Joshi were present. Internationally most appreciated Gujarati film ‘The last film show’ was the opening film and Writer Director of the film Pan Nalin was also present to grace the occasion.
IGFF was previously held in the year 2018 at New Jersey and in the year 2019 at Los Angeles and New Jersey.
Local Community and Audience are very excited about the screening as well as on the last day which is on 22nd May, Grand Closing Night will be held with Award Ceremony.
IGFF will select one exclusive Grand Prize Winner for each official competition category, the competition’s highest and most coveted honor. Gujarati Film ‘21th Tiffin’ will be the closing Film.
