The heat continues to grapple in Ahmedabad, as the city on Friday recorded the maximum temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 41.6 degrees Celsius, Deesa recorded 41.4 degrees Celsius and Vadodara registered a maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius, Bhuj recorded 38.8 degrees C while Surat recorded a maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius
The highest maximum temperature in the region was 44 degrees Celsius, recorded at Surendanagar.
As per the prediction by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather is likely to remain dry with little humidity and no rainfall for the next few days.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and ]in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
No heat wave warnings issued for Gujarat so far.
