On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad dropped to 41.2 degrees Celsius.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius, Both Vadodara and Deesa recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius, Bhuj recorded 35.6 degrees Celsius and Surat registered a maximum temperature of 31.6 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for North Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar; in the districts of Saurashtra- Kutch namely Surendranagar and Kutch for next two days.
Dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
