The Gujarat Board has announced Class 12 science stream results on Thursday, May 12; however, the admission procedure for Bsc courses affiliated with the Gujarat University will begin in June because the university has yet to hire an agency to conduct the admission procedure.
There are around 35 science colleges for Bsc courses affiliated with Gujarat University, which are offering around 14,000 seats to the students this year.
The entire admission procedure is undertaken by a private agency, hired by the university after issuing a tender which is a month-long process.
According to sources, Gujarat University has just issued a tender for the hiring of an admissions agency. This selection process will take a month, and admissions will begin only after the agency is hired. As a result, the admission process for Bsc students will most likely begin in June.
The Gujarat Board examination saw a total of 1,06,347 candidates take the Class 12 science stream. According to the results announced on Thursday, the Rajkot district finished first in the state with an 88% result, while the Dahod district finished last with a 40.19% result. In the centre, Lathi came in first with 96.15 percent, and Limkheda came in last with 33.33 percent.
