As heatwave continues to intensify in various part of the country and in Gujarat, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad soared to 41.2 degrees Celsius on Monday.
While Ahmedabad records minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius in a day.
Apart from Ahmedabad, Rajkot also registered a maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius, Vadodara 39.2 degrees Celsius and Surat recorded 31.6 degrees Celsius.
As of now no heatwave warning was issued by IMD for Gujarat.
As per the IMD’s forecast, dry weather very likely in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
Whereas, on April 20, light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Dahod, Vadodara, Bharuch; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Surendranagar.
