The fuel prices in the country again rose by 40 paise on Monday taking the overall increase in the last two weeks to Rs 8.40.
This is the 12th fuel hike in the last 14 days.
According to the revised fuel prices, the petrol will cost Rs 103.47. Whereas the diesel will cost Rs 97.78
People are unhappy with the constant increase in fuel prices in the state. Opposition parties have been targeting the central government over the continued rise in fuel prices.
Under its ‘Mehngai Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ against price rises, Congress is organising rallies and marches across the country.
