The bhoomipujan ceremony for a new medical college to be developed by Kiran Hospital at Vadod village in Surat will take place on Sunday 27th March.
The bhoompujan will be performed by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The college will offer both MBBS and postgraduate courses.
After obtaining all necessary approvals in six months, the campus is expected to begin operations in the following academic year. It will be located 2 kilometres from Vadod village’s outer ring road. Kiran Hospital, which is run by the Samasta Patidar Aarogya Trust, will construct the college. The college will have cutting-edge technology and facilities.

The bhumi pujan will take place on March 27th at 9 a.m. at the DD sports complex in Variyav.
The state BJP chief CR Patil, Union State Minister of Railways and Textiles Darshana Jardosh, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, state education minister Jitu Vaghani, state health minister Rushikesh Patel, minister of roads and building Purnesh Modi, Bardoli MP Prabhubhai Vasava, state home minister Harsh Sanghavi, mayor Hemali Boghawala, VNSGU vice chancellor KN Chavda and other leaders will remain present in the ceremony.
