About the Event: The exhibition is inspired by various vignettes of Ahmedabad’s socio-cultural and everyday life, and it celebrates the city’s heritage legacy. Rajesh Sagara, a national award winner, conceptualised, created, and carved a collection of sculptures for the show.

An installation in memory of those lost to Covid
About the Event: ‘Riderless World’ is an installation by Sonal Ambani in memory of all those who lost their lives to Covid-19.
The sculpture features a bronze horse with its tail and a part of its abdomen broken apart and placed upon marble platforms, representing the state of the world and signifying all that has been lost.
Behind the horse is a wall onto which people who have lost their lives amid the pandemic are memorialised by means of a projector. Their names slowly scroll on the wall, as the audience adds to the list. To add the names of your loved ones, visit https://www.riderlessworld.com/
