The second India-Africa defence dialogue will take place on March 12th, on the sidelines of DefExpo 2022, which will take place in Gandhinagar from March 10th to 14th.
A total of 20 African defense ministers have confirmed their attendance, with more expected. From the Indian side, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will take the lead.
Around 70 countries are expected to attend the seminar at DefExpo 2022.
The second India-Africa defence dialogue aims to provide direction to the growing defence ties between the two countries. It will take place against the backdrop of the Indian-Philippine Brahmos deal, the country’s largest defence export in its independent history.
The discussion between India and Africa about when the next India-Africa summit will take place has begun.
