The annual examinations of schools affiliated with the Gujarat board will begin from April 18. After Class X and XII exams are completed, school exams will begin.
The board of education has announced that the school exams will begin on April 18 and end on April 28. According to board officials, the syllabus for the final examination will include only chapters taught in the second term, which began after the Diwali holiday.
The board said the exams for main subjects such as mathematics, science, English and Gujarati will have common papers for government and private schools. For the other subjects, schools can set their own papers.
This will be the first in-person exam for students in Classes III through V, and it will be held over three days beginning April 19.
Exams for Classes VI through VIII will begin on April 21.
