After dropping powerful posters from his upcoming film Bachchhan Paandey, Akshay Kumar released an action-packed trailer for the film on Friday.
The trailer sees Myra Devekar (Kriti Sanon) is an aspiring director who embarks on a journey with her friend Vishu (Arshad Warsi) to make a biopic about a real-life gangster. The next shot showcases the dry and deserted lands of Bhagwa, where resides the menacing one eyed gangster Bachchhan Paandey, and his team. Next, Bachchhan shows up on screen saying “to maintain swag, it is important to create fear, “and ruthlessly killing people coming his way.
As Myra and vishu start to document the film, they find themselves landing in trouble in between the goons. While recording Bachchhan telling his story, she finds out that Paandey likes to kill people for ‘fun’ and that he has even murdered his girlfriend (Jacqueline Fernandez).
As the trailer comes to end, it shows Myra and Vishu, on their knees begging for their lives, with Bachchhan moving in their direction to kill one of them. “Not Bhai, I am known as Godfather,” a ferocious Bachchhan says at the end of the trailer. The gripping trailer promises viewers a roller coaster ride.

Bachchhan Pandey is written by Nischay Kuttanda and directed by Farhad Samji. The film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is scheduled to release on 18 March. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, and Sanjay Mishra.
