Actor Ajay Devgn just unveiled his first look poster from the film Gangubai Kathiawadi, which features Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
Ajay Devgn wrote, “Apni pehchaan se chaar lagane, aa rahe hai hum! Trailer out tomorrow. #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th Feb, 2022 (sic).”
Making the announcement about Gangubai Kathiawadi’s trailer launch, Alia Bhatt had shared a new poster. The caption read, “Aa Rahi Hai Gangu Trailer out on 4th February #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th February, 2022 (sic).”
The film has been delayed again and again due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But now the team and fans are gearing up for the movie’s release. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the theatres on February 25
Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical crime drama developed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, based on Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Alia Bhatt plays the role of a woman named Ganga, who becomes a madame Gangubai, in the red light area of Kamathipura in the 1960s. The story shows how she rose to power, battling myriad challenges. Gangubai Kathiawadi is produced by Jayantilal Gada.
Ajay Devgn has reunited with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after almost two decades. Their previous collaboration was the 1998 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan.
