Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar has been hospitalised to the ICU of Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital, after testing positive for Covid-19. She is also suffering from pneumonia.
Dr Pratit Samdhani, who is leading the team of professionals treating Mangeshkar, stated that she was brought to the hospital early on Sunday morning and is suffering from Covid-19 and pneumonia.
“Lata taai has tested positive for Covid-19, and physicians advised us to admit her to the ICU since she requires daily care,” her niece Rachna Shah said. We can’t afford to take any chances. “As a family, we want the best for her and want to make sure she has good medical treatment,” she added.
