The Ahmedabad Airport from January 17 will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm till to May 31. The decision was made as a result of the runway recarpeting operation it will only be operational prior to 8 a.m. and after 6 p.m. Up to 33 flights have been cancelled.
Authorities have decided to discontinue 33 flights until May 21. Furthermore, 15 flights have been rescheduled until May 31. There are 136 flights that arrive at Ahmedabad Airport every day, but due to this operation, only 103 will arrive.
Due to runway recarpeting operations, Indigo Air Agency has decided to operate its busy route flight from Vadodara. Furthermore, flights will be merged to ensure that those who have made advance reservations are not inconvenienced. Most importantly, no Air India flights will be cancelled as a result of the recapentry operation.
