The Gujarat government, through Aerotrans Services, will begin helicopter joyrides from the riverfront on January 1, 2022.
The joyrides will be inaugurated at 4 p.m. on January 1, 2022, by Minister Purneshbhai Modi of the Government of Gujarat from the riverfront helipad.
Every Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, joyrides would be available. Each joyride would last 9 minutes, accommodate 5 passengers, and cost INR 2,360 per joyride.
The thrill ride would take passengers from the riverfront helipad to Narendra Modi Stadium and back. A second route for the joyride would be from the riverfront to Science City and back. This route would begin in mid-January 2022.
The schedule and the booking process for the rides would be published on the website of Aerotrans (https://booking aerotrans in/) as well as on Government of Gujarat web portals
This would be the first time in India that people would get to experience helicopter joyrides at such an affordable price
Aerotrans’ management stated that it is conscious of the current Corona infection situation and all precautions would be taken by Aerotrans while operating this service.
