IRCTC increases frequency of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express to 5 days a week

IRCTC increases frequency of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express to 5 days a week

The IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering And Tourism Corporation Limited) will increase the frequency of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express from 4 days a week to 5 from December 22 onwards, a recent press release stated. The train will now operate on Wednesdays as well.

“Tejas Express, which is now operating with a weekly frequency of four days i.e. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, is being raised to five days a week frequency with the addition of Wednesday w.e.f 22nd December 2021,” according to the press release.

“It is impressive to notice positive trends in Tejas Express reservations, and IRCTC is excited to accommodate even more passengers by adding a third day of service, Wednesday, to the Ahmedabad Mumbai Tejas Express, effective December 22, 2021. IRCTC aspires to provide our valued clients with the most relaxing and secure atmosphere possible, as well as world-class services and memories to treasure for a lifetime “Rahul Himalian, Group General Manager, stated.

Tejas Express trains on the Ahmedabad – Mumbai – Ahmedabad route were reintroduced by the IRCTC on August 7, 2021.
