The guests arrived on November 25 and left on November 28 for Bhavnagar. Covid was found in nearly half of the 20 people who attended a wedding at a Sindhu Bhavan Road hotel. Three of the ten people who tested positive, a 77-year-old man, a 78-year-old woman, and a 55-year-old woman, are receiving oxygen, according to Bhavnagar municipal officials.
According to a Bhavnagar municipal health official, the three are in good health. All of the others have been placed in home confinement. Meanwhile, all hotel employees in Ahmedabad who had contact with the guests were subjected to RT-PCR tests.
The guests are residents of Vijayrajnagar Dairy, Satyanarayan Road, RTO Road, Chowk Hill Drive Road, Rupani Circle, and Atabhai Chowk, according to a senior Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation official. “The guests have been gone for five days, and we are waiting for the hotel employees’ RT-PCR test results,” a senior AMC official said. “
There are no additional Omicron-specific protocols in place, but the AMC will be keeping a close eye on visitors from the 11-odd countries on the Omicron watch list.”
