The Gujarat government announced on Monday that it will host a Vibrant Gujarat startup summit on January 9, 2022, just before the Vibrant Gujarat global summit 2022. The summit’s organisers hope to bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists on a single platform.
The ‘Vibrant Gujarat startup summit’ will bring together budding and emerging startups, unicorns, funding agencies, incubators, industry leaders, and MSMEs at the iCreate (International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology) campus near Ahmedabad.
Anju Sharma, principal secretary of the state labour and employment department, confirmed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been invited as the chief guest..
The main event will include a Unicorn Conclave, which will be attended by a dozen Unicorn founders and over 1,000 Gujarat-based startups. Over 1,000 Gujarat-based startups, 150 startup incubators, hundreds of industry leaders, and MSMEs will also attend the summit. The one-day summit will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, incubators, and venture capitalists, as well as a platform for Gujarat’s leading startups and incubation centres to showcase their disruptive innovations.
The event will feature key stakeholders from India and the global startup ecosystem. “It is a place where participants can share, learn, and grow.
