Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed today in New Delhi at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2022 Promotions. The three-day event, which begins on January 10, aims to draw investments from various sectors to the state.
Addressing the audience of the event, CM Patel informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the event at Gandhinagar. The theme of the event is “From Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
CM Patel stated that in this 75th year of independence, when India celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Gujarat is working really hard to achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
He stated that they are working working to ensure India a “global powerhouse.”
The event was attended by several state heads and CEOs of multinational companies. For the main event from January 10, a large number of the domestic investors are likely to participate.
The summit will feature events focused on key national initiatives such as the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, Renewable Energy, Electric Mobility, and Futuristic Technology and Innovation.
The Gujarat government is hosting the event in order to increase investments in next-generation infrastructure, energy and digital networks, startups and innovation, emerging technologies, research and development, and electric vehicles, among other areas.
Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, India’s Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, invited investors to the summit. He quoted the Prime Minister, saying that “wealth creators must be respected.” He stated that for a country to grow, it requires wealth in its treasures, which can only be obtained by wealth creators.
Dr Mandaviya and CM Patel both invited investors to the Summit the following year.
The Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar will host the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2022 – Towards a Sustainable and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The first Vibrant Gujarat summit was held in 2003, when Narendra Modi was the state’s Chief Minister.
