Attention has turned after Bhupendra Patel took oath as CM to who will find place or who will exit, in his council of ministers. Sources said more than six ministers are likely to be replaced.
Amit Shah is said to have held discussions about the ministry with senior leaders after the ceremony. Several new and young faces will find place in the new ministry.
Vijay Rupani had his deputy in the form of Nitin Patel but under Patel’s reign appointment of Deputy CM is not likely. There was a news that Gujarat will have two deputy CMs under Patel.
Sources said many ministers like Purushottam Solanki, Bachu Khabad, Vibhavari Dave, Ishwar Parmar, Hakuba Jadeja and Ishwar Parmar will be dropped as their performance has not been up to the mark.
Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma is likely to be the new Speaker, sources said. The biggest speculation is how former Deputy CM Nitin Patel will be accommodated in the new ministry.
Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja is likely to be promoted and given an important responsibility, sources said. The names of new ministers are likely to be finalised in a day or two.
