The results of GUJCET 2021 (Gujarat Common Entrance Test), which is conducted for admissions to degree and diploma courses in Engineering and Pharmacy courses in the state, were declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on Saturday.
In Group A, which includes physics, chemistry, and maths, 474 students ranked above 99 percentile, while 678 Group B candidates scored above 99 percentile. The B Group includes physics, chemistry, and biology.
940 Group A candidates and 1,347 Group B candidates ranked above 98 percentile, according to the data sheet released by the Board.
1,853 Group A students and 2,701 Group students ranked above 96 percentile.
The Board’s deputy secretary JG Pandya said in a press release students will be able to see their results on the website result.gseb.org by entering their seat number.
Communication regarding sending of mark sheets to schools will be shared separately, the board said, adding that instructions regarding obtaining copies of the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets will also be announced later.
The Board had conducted the GUJCET 2021 exams on August 6, in which 1,13,202 students had appeared, while 4,730 students were absent. The number of students who appeared for the exams includes the 280 Group AB students, which includes physics, chemistry, maths, and biology. The Board had released the provisional answer keys of GUJCET 2021 on August 13.
