The PUBG MOBILE World Cup returns for its second edition, this time as a key highlight of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. Kicking off with a Group Draw, 24 top teams from around the globe will be split into three groups. From July 25 to 27, they’ll battle it out in the Group Stage, all aiming for a place in the Grand Finals and a shot at the massive $3 million (over ₹25.5 crore) prize pool.
The PUBG MOBILE World Cup 2025 is back as one of this summer’s most anticipated esports tournaments. After a successful debut last year, PMWC returns as a marquee event of the Esports World Cup, showcasing PUBG MOBILE Esports’ ongoing commitment to expanding the global mobile esports landscape.
This year, the tournament features an updated SMASH ruleset. Under the new format, a team must first hit match point—set as the top team’s score after Day 2 plus 10 points—and then secure a match victory to be crowned champions. If no team meets these conditions after 18 matches, the title goes to the team with the highest overall points.
