At the London event, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh lauded Shubman Gill’s remarkable performance in the second Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Edgbaston. Speaking to media agency, Yuvraj praised Gill’s leadership and his outstanding knocks of 269 and 161, which played a key role in India’s commanding 337-run win over England. His stellar batting not only helped India level the series 1-1 but also earned him the Player of the Match award.
“I’m very proud of Shubman Gill, and I’m sure his father is too. His leadership and batting were impressive. I hope he scores many more centuries in international cricket,” said Yuvraj while mentioning Gill.
