The immersive dining experience will celebrate the rich and diverse culinary traditions of the Royals of Maratha Region.Gandhinagar: The Leela Gandhinagar, the luxury hospitality destination in the twin cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, is hosting “Royal Maratha Indulgence” at its signature Indian fine dining restaurant, Diya, from 27th June 2025. The immersive dining experience will celebrate the rich and diverse culinary traditions of the Marathas.This royal culinary experience has been co-curated by food historian Anil Mulchandani and will feature a rare showcase of heirloom Maratha recipes from Bundelkhand, Malwa, Gujarat, Thanjavur, and other regions once under the influence of Maratha dynasties.The culinary experience will be brought to life by guest chef Mrs Sonal Naik Nimbalkar Mahurkar, a descendant of the Naik Nimbalkar dynasty of Western Maharashtra.
