Gujarat saw another round of unseasonal rainfall in several districts including Anand, Rajkot, Surendra nagar, Bharuch and Ahmedabad.
While the state awaits monsoon, the Indian Meteorological has predicted heavy rain in Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Amreli and Bhavnagar on June 16.
Other districts that may witness heavy rainfall between June 17 to 22 include: Surat, Bharuch, Amreli, Tapi, Bhavnagar, Porbandar, Dwarka, and Kutch.
The rest of the districts including Ahmedabad is set to witness light to moderate rainfall until June 22.
A gradual fall in maximum temperature by 3-5°C is predicted for the next five days.
Today, Ahmedabad’s maximum temperature during the day was 39°C.
