Comedy fans are in for a treat as The Great Indian Kapil Show gears up for its much-anticipated third season on Netflix, premiering June 21 at 8 PM. After a successful run of two seasons, the show returns with familiar faces and a surprising twist—Navjot Singh Sidhu will be sharing the judge’s seat with Archana Puran Singh, rekindling audience excitement.
Known for his witty couplets and hearty laugh, Sidhu’s comeback marks his return to the comedy stage after nearly five years. Joining the core cast alongside host Kapil Sharma, the show will also feature comic heavyweights Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek.
The upcoming season kicks off with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan appearing as the special guest in the premiere episode.
While the cast lineup has drawn considerable attention, it’s the fee structure of the judges that has sparked fresh buzz. As per a report by Siasat, Archana Puran Singh is being paid approximately ₹10–12 lakh per episode, maintaining her consistent presence on the show. However, Navjot Singh Sidhu, returning to the show’s format, is reportedly earning a whopping ₹30–40 lakh per episode, more than double Archana’s remuneration.
Sidhu, who previously appeared in The Kapil Sharma Show between 2018 and 2020, was allegedly paid around ₹25 crore for 125 episodes—averaging about ₹25 lakh per episode during his earlier stint.
With Sidhu back on board, and a star-studded comic ensemble, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 is expected to bring laughter-packed weekends back to viewers’ screens, promising a fresh round of entertainment and nostalgia.
