Over 12.36 Lakh Students Qualify, Rajasthan’s Mahesh Kumar Secures AIR 1
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced the results for the NEET-UG 2025 medical entrance exam, with more than 12.36 lakh students qualifying. Candidates can now check and download their scorecards by logging into the official website — neet.nta.nic.in.
The result includes crucial details such as subject-wise marks, overall score, percentile rank, and qualifying status.
Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of successful candidates, followed closely by Maharashtra. In the individual rankings, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan bagged the All India Rank 1, while Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh secured the second spot. Avika Aggarwal from Delhi emerged as the top-performing female candidate, claiming the 5th rank nationwide.
This year, over 24 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam, and with 12.36 lakh qualifying, the success rate stands at just over 51%.
These results are a key milestone for students aiming for admission into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state authorities are expected to release counselling schedules soon.
